Now that it's been announced that the new season of "The Hills" will be its last, some of the show's stars are discussing what they'd like to see happen in the final 12 episodes, kicking off April 27. Will Lauren Conrad come back? Will Kristin Cavallari stir up some more relationship trouble? Will Speidi finally start a family? It seems like anything is possible as the cast bids a fond farewell.

"I've had the best time," Cavallari told MTV News about her return to reality TV at the season-finale party in December. So what does she foresee happening in the new season? "In two weeks, so much can go on. Already, it's like night and day to what's happen[ed]. So I have no idea. In the 'Hills' world, so much can happen in one day, so I have no idea."

Castmate Lo Bosworth, who entered the reality-TV world alongside Cavallari on "Laguna Beach," said she'd like to see a little less drama for the show's final season, though it feels like that might be an impossible dream.

"I wish for a happier season next time," she said in December. "I would like a little return to normalcy, actually, sort of like previous seasons. It was a little more — not naive, but had more charm to it, just 'cause we didn't really know what we were doing."

And while last season was Lauren Conrad-free after she left the show to pursue other interests, does her bestie Lo ever think she might make a cameo? "Highly doubtful," she said. "I think she's very content."

Season 6 of "The Hills" will be the last

After six seasons of sex-tape rumors, Les Deux drama, and couture-filled trips to Paris, MTV and the producers of The Hills  have decided it’s time for the sun to set on the reality phenom. “I think we’ve told the story of struggle and of finding yourself in L.A.,” creator Adam DiVello tells EW. “A lot of these kids have found themselves and have certainly embarked on different careers and different paths.” None more so than Heidi Montag, who premieres her much-discussed plastic-surgery results to her mother on camera in the first episode back. Says DiVello, “We tell the whole story. We pick right up where Heidi goes and sees her parents. And our cameras are there that minute the mother opens the door and sees her daughter for the first time.” Adds executive producer Liz Gateley, “It’s a really touching but heartbreaking scene to watch.”

Heidi and Spencer’s relationship will also be a major focus of this batch of episodes. Commenting on rumors that Spencer had been taken off the show, DiVello says, “Spencer is dealing with some stuff right now, and once he gets through that, we’ll be back to shooting with Spencer again. Bottom line is you will see him. He’ll be in most of the episodes.”

In the final 12 episodes set to begin airing on April 27 at 10 p.m. ET, fans can expect to see Audrina Patridge dating singer Ryan Cabrera and Kristin Cavallari dealing with rumors of drug abuse. “When Kristin was in Miami for the Super Bowl, there was definitely some late nights for her and some speculation that she might be partying a little too hard,” explains Gateley. “So we’re definitely going to cover that part of Kristin. We’re pretty much covering everything you’ve read [about in the tabloids].” Also look for Stephanie Pratt to be dealing with sobriety, coming off her DUI last year.

But will former star Lauren Conrad return for the big goodbye? Maybe. DiVello promises a satisfying conclusion to the drama that started in Laguna Beach — though there’s one ending fans shouldn’t hold out for: “I always joked it would be nice to see Lauren get married.”

Filming "The Hills" at Porta Via Italian Kitchen - March 17

Getting back to work on their hit show, Heidi Montag and Kristin Cavallari were out shooting scenes for "The Hills" in Beverly Hills, California on Wednesday (March 17).

With both ladies looking stylish, the MTV babes made separate arrivals for the day's filming session held at the popular Porta Via Italian Kitchen.

Tweeting to her fans and followers to wish them all a happy holiday, Miss Cavallari wrote, "Happy St. Pattys day!! What is everyone doing? Ill be filming all day..."

Taking care of her growling tummy, Kristin Cavallari was spotted grabbing some lunch in West Hollywood yesterday (March 16).

 Joined by a gal pal, the “Laguna Beach” babe looked simple-yet-sexy in a casual black minidress with beige peep-toe heels and black sunglasses.

 Following a lengthy lunch, Kristin and her gal pal made their way over to Beverly Hills to do a little retail therapy romp.

The night before, Kristin was spotted out and about with a group of friends, including her “Hills” costar Audrina Patridge.

Kicking off her week with an evening out, Kristin Cavallari was spotted partying with some friends in Los Angeles last night (March 15).

The “Hills” babe looked super sexy in a black dress as she made her way around town with the paparazzi on her tail.

Earlier in the day, Kristin treated herself to some pampering with a manicure treatment at Delicate Nail Salon in Beverly Hills.

Miss Cavallari also stopped by Whole Foods supermarket to restock her pantry with plenty of healthy eats.

More Drama On The Hills!

And as usual, it involves a member of the Pratt clan.

While her bro was booted from the show for being a violent douche-bucket, Stephanie Pratt is attempting to liven up the failing show with some drama tricks up her skanky sleeves.

The gang was all at the new club Industry last night, shooting some scenes for the new season. Sans Spencer Pratt to instigate a brawl, Stephanie took it upon herself to get the ball rolling.

 Waiting until Kristin Cavallari was good and drunk off of vodka Red Bulls, Stephanie started to make a play for Kristin's limelight.

When Kristin left, Stephanie swooped in to start dancing with her many men, including Brody Jenner. When Kristin returned, Stephanie sulked into her corner, but not for long.

Witnesses at the club explain seeing the two bitches getting "at each other's throats" and throwing it down in the middle of the club. A source recalls:
“Stephanie was sitting and Kristin kind of stumbled over her. Stephanie said something snappy to her and then they got into each other’s faces. They weren’t yelling but you could tell it was really tense. They looked like they wanted to hit each other.”

Now, now ladies! Violence is never the answer.

And while this still sounds much more exciting than anything that happen last season, we still feel like the show has seen better days. Time to pack this one up, kiddies.
