Kristin Is Too Busy for a Boyfriend


Kristin Cavallari is just too busy to have a boyfriend.

Looking phenomenal in a short aqua off-the-shoulder jersey dress and four-inch silver heels, the former Laguna Beach star attended the Ciroc Vodka Big Brothers Big Sisters DJ Irie benefit dinner at Miami's Gansevoort Hotel Saturday night with two girlfriends.

"What love life?" Cavallari, 21, said to PEOPLE. "I'm so busy." She added that she is "single and not looking for a boyfriend.

"Busy indeed! Cavallari just finished shooting Wild Cherry, a film with Rumer Willis and Rob Schneider, in Canada. She said it was "great" to film with Willis and pronounced Schneider "so funny." She also just shot a music video with Gavin DeGraw and a short film by Kevin Connolly.

Cavallari's not the only Laguna Beach veteran to be finding success. Her Hills pals are making their mark in film and fashion and music, which she thinks is great: "I'm so happy for them."

Kristin to Star in Sex Comedy
Kristin Cavallari is headed back to work.

The Laguna Beach alum will appear in the indie Wild Cherry, co-starring Rob Schneider and Rumer Willis.

The ensemble comedy centers around a high school senior who plans to lose her virginity to her football player boyfriend, according to Variety.

She soon finds out that her beau only wants to sleep with her so he can include her in the football team's "bang book."

Outraged, she and her pals decide to plot revenge.

The flick begins filming in Winnipeg, Canada, on May 7.

Kristin Cavallari Turns 21 with Vegas Bash
Kristin Cavallari won't divulge whether she will be joining MTV's The Hills, only saying that "it's a great show." But she's already partying like the cast – celebrating her 21st birthday in Las Vegas.

The former Laguna Beach star marked the rite of passage at Luxor's LAX nightclub, where she danced to Soulja Boy and hung with friends.

"My first official drink was Grey Goose and soda," she said. "It's really exciting. I can go to the clubs and not worry about anything."

She was joined by fellow Laguna Beach alum Alex Murrel, and spent the night chatting up former flame Matt Leinart, who coincidentally was seated at an adjacent table in the VIP section.

Following her dinner at Company American Bistro, Cavallari's highlight was easily the sparkling birthday cake that was brought out for her.

Saturday night capped the weekend-long celebration for the onetime Lauren Conrad rival. As soon as the clock struck midnight Saturday, the newly single Cavallari (she recently broke up with Nick Zano) headed to Pure Nightclub to take in the sights.

And what about the guys? Cavallari wouldn't reveal details on her love life, only saying that she is dating "and having fun."

Save Ellis Island

When my grandfather, Frank, came through Ellis Island in 1903
from Fano, Italy, little did he know that he would later meet
Adela, also from the same town in Italy. They married in Big Run,
Pennsylvania and raised their new American family. My other
grandparents, Peter and Angela, also came through Ellis Island,
from Genoa, Italy in search of new life and new opportunity.

I Have "Super" Vision
June 18, 2007

My doctor told me that I have "super" vision, it's better than 20/20. I really never thought I'd be able to see like this. Last night after the surgery I basically just slept; and then this morning I went for my follow-up exam where my doctor took a close look at my eyes and ensured that everything is going according to plan. It's really been incredibly easy, and only one day after the procedure, my life is totally normal – except I have excellent vision! Now all I have to do is apply eye drops per the schedule they gave me and enjoy my new view on life.

It Was Really Emotional
June 11, 2007

I finally did it, I had my LASIK procedure ... and when I was done and they sit you up, there was a clock right there ... and I was able to read it – without glasses! It was a weird emotional feeling, and after all of the buildup, it was a really satisfying feeling to be a little scared about something but then putting your mind to it and getting it done. All of the anticipation is what's the killer, because you anticipate pain and you get all worked up, playing mind games with yourself. But there was no pain at all and it's actually kinda silly how easy the whole thing was. If you're a candidate, you gotta do this.
